The Rainforest World Music Festival is an annual three-day music festival celebrating the diversity of world music, held in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia, with daytime music workshops, cultural displays, craft displays, food stalls, and main-stage evening concerts.

It is celebrated annually on the 21st June, during the summer solstice, with thousands of free public events taking place in over 700 cities. World Music Day was officially launched in 1982, in France, and became a major world music event that’s now celebrated in over 120 countries every year.

The venue is 35 km from Kuching City Center and takes about 40 minutes to an hour to reach. Shuttle services will be arranged to transport visitors to the RWMF venue from the city center. Pick-up locations will be at Riverside Shopping Complex and Merdeka Palace Hotel and Suites.
