Lankayan Island is a small tropical coral resort island in Beluran, Sabah, Malaysia in the Sulu Sea. Lankayan Island has many species of attractive flora and fauna.

The only resort on the island, Lankayan Island Dive Resort, was built in 1997. Divers are attracted by myriad macro marine life, coral and sunken wrecks.

The small island of Lankayan is located in the Sulu Sea, about 70 km due north of the port city of Sandakan. You can fly to Sandakan from Kuala Lumpur or Kota Kinabalu. From Sandakan, it is 30 minutes by minibus and 90 minutes by speedboat to the island of Lankayan.
